Development Setup
My Linux desktops, development tools, and everyday hardware.
My development setup keeps evolving. I work with C++ and Rust, use Linux, and enjoy trying different distributions and desktop environments. This page collects the hardware and tools I use along the way.
Linux and desktops
I use Ubuntu on the Debian side and Fedora on the RPM side of the Linux world.
On Ubuntu, I recently installed an Omarchy-style setup with Hyprland using Nix. So far, it is not bad! My setup is available in omarchy-ubuntu-nix.
On Fedora, I use GNOME.
Hardware
I use two Dell laptops:
- Dell Latitude E-series.
- Dell Inspiron 13 5000.
My mechanical keyboard is a Keychron V1 8K QMK wired keyboard with Super Banana switches. They have a tactile feel, similar to brown switches.
